Yes, on-leash only (6-foot maximum). Sweeney Ridge is managed by the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Dogs must be leashed at all times on all trails. The main route from the Sneath Lane trailhead in San Bruno is 4.5 miles round-trip on fire roads, reaching the Portola Discovery Site with 360-degree views.
