Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Wildcat Canyon Regional Park (EBRPD) allows dogs off-leash under voice control in undeveloped open space areas — most of the park's 2,428 acres. Leashes are required in parking areas and on Nimitz Way. The park's extensive trail network through grasslands and creek canyon is excellent for off-leash exploration.

Conseils
Cattle grazing on ridges — keep dogs from chasing. Hot in summer, no shade on ridge. Combine with Tilden via Nimitz Way for an epic ridge hike.
