このトレイルについて
Colorful pebble beach in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) Marin Headlands. Rodeo Beach and South Rodeo Beach are designated voice-control areas — dogs may be off-leash under voice and sight control on the shoreline. Leashes are required above the dunes, in the parking and picnic areas, and on most connecting Marin Headlands trails. Dogs and people are not allowed in Rodeo Lagoon at all.
The GGNRA Superintendent's Compendium (§1.5(a)(2)) designates "Rodeo Beach and South Rodeo Beach, Fort Cronkhite" for dog walking under voice and sight control — dogs may be off-leash on the shoreline. Leashes are required above the dunes and in the parking and picnic areas. Most connecting Marin Headlands trails are leash-required; the voice-control exceptions listed in the Compendium are the Loop Trail from Rodeo Beach, the SCA Trail loop, the Wolf Ridge Loop, and the Alta Trail between Marin City and the Oakwood Valley Trail junction. Rodeo Lagoon is closed to both people and pets in its entirety to protect the endangered tidewater goby.
