Frequently Asked Questions
Only in the County Park half, and only on leash. The site is two adjoining properties with opposite rules: Santa Clara County's Rancho San Antonio County Park allows leashed dogs, while the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District states plainly of the adjoining Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve that "Dogs are not allowed in this Preserve." There is no off-leash section anywhere here — the preserve bans dogs outright rather than permitting voice control. Dogs are also not allowed in the Deer Hollow Farm area. Check trailhead signs: the boundary between county park and preserve is not obvious on the ground.
