Official leash rule
ON-LEASH required throughout Pacifica State Beach (Linda Mar) under City of Pacifica ordinance — max 6-foot leash, enforced by Pacifica Police and Animal Control. Linda Mar is NOT an off-leash beach. The only off-leash beach in Pacifica is Esplanade Beach (off Esplanade Ave & West Manor Drive).
