MROSD 系统中唯一设有指定免牵绳区域的保护区——366 英亩保护区中央的 17.5 英亩，可经 Cordilleras、Polly Geraci/Hassler 和 Blue Oak 步道进入。保护区其余步道必须使用不超过 6 英尺的牵绳。起伏的山丘，有草地和橡树，比许多湾区狗狗景点人少。

Yes. Pulgas Ridge Open Space Preserve (Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District) allows dogs off-leash on trails, provided they are under voice control and within sight. Dogs must be leashed near the Crystal Springs Reservoir boundary area. The preserve spans 750 acres of oak woodland and chaparral near Redwood City.

Off-leash only inside the signed 17.5-acre area in the middle of the preserve, and you must still carry a leash there; 6-foot leash on all other trails per MROSD. Ticks are common — check your dog after the hike. Rattlesnakes in summer.
